One month from today! That’s when it all gets started for the 2008 Crosby Fair & Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off, Fair and PRCA Rodeo.

We’ve had greater interested from the Crosby Community this year than we’ve had in the past and it is sincerely appreciated. The new men elected to the Board of Directors have given us a broader range of interest and are directly responsible for this increased community involvement. They and their efforts were needed and I hope they have some idea as to how much their contributions to the betterment of CF&R are appreciated.

A tremendous amount of work remains to be done on the facilities prior to the 6th of June, but a lot of dedicated individuals are making every effort to get everything accomplished.

Just a reminder to spend some time with your Mom next weekend! I hope that most of your are as blessed as I am by having your Mom still around to spend time with.

I also need to remind you that next weekend is the Brisket Cook and pickup for the Auction Committee Fundraiser. Paul Saenz and his crew will start cooking briskets on Friday, the 9th and they will be available for pickup from 10 until noon on Saturday, the 10th.

If you can’t find the information you need on this website, please don’t hesitate to call Miss Shirley at the office, 281-328-2113. If she doesn’t have the answer, she will direct you to the individual that does.
